The NHS is a special suppressor just for the guys who love competition shooting. You can definitely use it hunting too, its just… not hearing safe.
With a built in muzzle brake and taper lock system, the NHS is designed to reduce concussion and to manage recoil, more so than to reduce sound levels. When you’re out shooting all day at the competition, its not the loudness that hurts you, its the muzzle blast. After shooting all day, that nasty headache will set in, maybe even sooner if you’ve been using a giant brake all day. The NHS makes that obsolete. A much quieter rifle, no concussion, and the recoil reduction of a muzzle brake. What’s not to love?
Easy to mount to any rifle, the taper lock system makes it so you can time it yourself, no need for shims.
