What should I know before buying?
Are suppressors legal where I live?
Suppressors are legal to own in 42 states and legal to hunt with in 41. You must be 21+ and able to pass a background check. (See full FAQ on the site.)
Barrel length or heat limits?
Keep cans under ~800 °F. Reaper: no barrel length restrictions for standard boltface cartridges; SA magnums ~16", LA magnums ~20".
I want to buy a suppressor! But how?
You have come to the right place!
If you live in the state of Idaho, you can buy a suppressor off the shelf directly from our shop in Post Falls. We have a kiosk onsite where you can do fingerprints, take photos, and set up a trust for your new suppressor.
If you live out of state, complete your purchase online and we will send your suppressor to your listed SOT. You can use any Silencer Shop kiosk and affiliated SOT to file your paperwork.
Unknown Suppressors will not handle any of the paperwork, unless you are buying in store and an Idaho resident.
